MONROVIA, Liberia — President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. has made three new appointments within the Liberian government, affecting the Office of the Ombudsman, Internal Audit Agency and Ministry of Local Government.
According to the Executive Mansion, Atty. Etmonia Mueadeh Martin has been appointed Acting Chairperson of the Ombudsman Commission.
At the Internal Audit Agency, President Boakai has renominated David A. Kemah as Director General.
Meanwhile, Emmanuel A. Lomax has been appointed Acting Deputy Minister for Public Affairs at the Ministry of Local Government.
The Executive Mansion said the appointees will serve in their respective capacities pending confirmation by the Liberian Senate.
President Boakai has urged the appointed officials to discharge their responsibilities with professionalism, integrity and steadfast leadership in service to the Liberian people.
The appointments were announced Tuesday, September 22, 2026.
The latest appointments add to a series of personnel changes made by the Boakai administration across government institutions in recent months.
