Less than three weeks after the resignation of its Secretary General Wilfred Bangura, the National Vice Chairman of the Citizens Movement for Change (CMC), B. Mack Gblinwon, has tendered his resignation over claims of exclusion, humiliation, and disrepect from the party.
In a one-page lettered sent to the chairman of the party James Yorgee, the former Vice Chairman said, “Additionally, under your leadership and with full acquiescence of the political leader, I was subjected to repeated acts of disrespect, intimidation, humiliation…”
CMC appears to be experiencing deeper cracks far before the 2029 presidential election due to multiple resignations and defections.
