BONG COUNTY — At least seven people are reportedly dead following a traffic collision involving a taxi and another commercial vehicle along the Gbarnga-Gbatala Road in Bong County.
The taxi, bearing license plate #TX10754, is said to have collided with an oncoming commercial vehicle along the major roadway.
Preliminary reports indicate that seven passengers did not survive the crash, although the identities of the victims and details surrounding the circumstances of the incident have not yet been established.
The extent of injuries, if any, among other passengers involved in the crash also remains unclear.
As of press time, authorities of the Liberia National Police in Bong County had not issued an official statement confirming the reported fatalities or providing details about the incident.
