(Sinje, Grand Cape Mount County, April 29, 2026) — Following the installation of a solar power system at the Sinje Comprehensive Health Center in Grand Cape Mount County, night-time testing of the system is now ongoing as the facility prepares to experience night-time and uninterrupted healthcare service delivery in the western region.
For years, the hospital struggled with inadequate electricity supply, a challenge that affected essential health services, especially during nighttime operations.
However, the newly installed solar power system is expected to end the prolonged electricity difficulties faced by the hospital and significantly strengthen service delivery for residents in the western region of the country.
