Has the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) lost Representative Jeremiah Garwo Sokan of Grand Gedeh County District #1 like they have also lost one of the longest-serving lawmakers, Senator Zoe Emmanuel Pennue?
Sokan ran on the CDC ticket in 2021 and has been a political ally of the CDC since 2018 even though he won his election as an independent candidate in 2024. However, he was among 49 lawmakers that declared overwhelming support for the relection of President Boakai yesterday.
