MONROVIA, Liberia, October 17, 2026 — Three Liberian nurses have completed an eight-week nursing leadership fellowship in Kerala, India, gaining skills and practical experience to strengthen nursing leadership and improve patient care in Liberia.
The Ministry of Health congratulated the participants and thanked the WHO Regional Director for Africa, Dr. Mohamed Yakub Janabi, and other partners for supporting the program.
The nurses are Harriet N. Harris of the Ministry of Health’s central office, Edrache Jewel Tarley of Duport Road Health Center in Montserrado County, and Winnie Mary Mandeh of Karnplay Health Center in Nimba County.
