‎Monrovia: Liberia—-Former President George Weah’s Chief of Staff Eugene Nagbe says the Congress for Democratic Change is currently facilitating discussions with several opposition political parties across the Country to pick a possible running mate to Weah and the formulation of a coalition in the 2029 general elections.

‎Speaking in an interview on Spoon FM, Nagbe disclosed that discussions surrounding would-be Vice Presidential candidate to Former President Weah in the 2029 general elections are being held with several opposition political parties including ANC, NPP, CMC, MPC and others.

‎He praised Former Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor for her leadership, stating that they are also having discussions to see the possibility of another alignment with Weah as Vice President.

‎According to him, though they have not reached a final decision to determine whether she will not go as Vice Presidential Running Mate, the CDC is working along with NPP to see the possibility of her realignment.

‎ He noted that discussions with other opposition political parties will include the Former Vice President on the table, as they will finalize the possibility of her participation as Running Mate or a pick from any of the above-mentioned opposition parties.
