Sekou Kalasco Damaro, former aide to ex-President George Weah, has shared his thoughts on the recent eviction of the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) from its longstanding headquarters.
Damaro reminded the public that the CDC won the presidential elections in 2017 but lost in the 2023 elections.
He highlighted that the eviction from the party’s 20-year-old headquarters is a result of both political and legal pressures.
“Sometimes you win, and sometimes you lose. A journey of life,” Damaro wrote, emphasizing the natural ebb and flow of politics.
Despite the eviction, he reassured supporters that the CDC remains alive and active.
“The party will not die, but the memories will live on forever,” he stated firmly.
Damaro expressed confidence in the party’s resilience, saying, “CDC will bounce back stronger.”
He ended his message with the hashtag #WeInside, signaling unity and ongoing commitment within the party ranks.
