“No one can destroy you,” Sen. McGill Tells CDCians Following The Eviction And Demolition of The CDC Party HQ

Margibi County Senator and stalwart of the former ruling Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), Nathaniel McGill, has delivered a passionate message of encouragement to members of his party, assuring them that their destiny remains protected by divine authority despite political challenges and opposition.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, McGill told CDC partisans: “No one can destroy you, because your life is in God’s hands.” The senator’s remarks come amid mounting political tensions and internal criticisms following recent eviction of the CDC headquarters in Congo Town, Monrovia.

They may try, they may lie, they may destroy your party’s headquarters, label you with all kinds of names, or even walk away from you,” McGill wrote, “but they will fail, because your life is not in their control. God is your protector, not man.”

Senator McGill, a former Minister of State for Presidential Affairs and a prominent voice in the CDC hierarchy, has been known for his bold rhetoric and spiritual overtones in political discourse. His latest remarks appear aimed at bolstering the morale of CDC supporters in the face of what he describes as betrayal and calculated attacks.

You don’t have to explain yourself to people who don’t understand your journey,” he continued. “God fights for you in silence. He sees what you don’t see… and He will shut it down before it even touches you.”

McGill’s message also touched on perseverance in adversity, urging supporters to remain strong and unshaken by challenges. “Yes, life will test you. Yes, people will disappoint you. But when God is in charge, the same pit they dig for you becomes their trap.”

In a final note of spiritual encouragement, McGill reminded his audience that “delays become redirection, pain becomes power, and every attack becomes a testimony” when one’s life is in God’s hands.

The message has sparked a range of reactions online, with supporters hailing it as a timely reminder of faith and fortitude, while critics say it deflects from pressing political and governance concerns.

Despite controversy surrounding his political career, McGill remains a key figure within the CDC and continues to wield considerable influence among grassroots supporters.
