“To Senator Abraham A. Dillion,
You are the same man who used us, abused our trust, and cried “crocodile tears” just to get the Montserrado County seat under the CPP.
The same man who knelt down publicly before JNB just for political survival.
The same man who called himself “The Light”, but today, the light is off, darkness has covered your integrity, and corruption has taken over your soul.
You promised never to drive a car over $20,000, never to take more than $5,000 as salary. You promised transparency, humility, and accountability. Look at you today.
Every promise broken. Every principle abandoned.
All that’s left is a politician pretending to speak for the people while eating from the same corrupt system you condemned.
You love to lecture the youth, knowing many of them don’t know your history, so it’s easy to fool them. But some of us remember everything.
And now you went on OK FM saying:
“Since Boakai came to power and Weah is not in power, a lot has changed.”
Senator, what exactly has changed?
Rice and Fuel prices?
LEC comes today, goes tomorrow.
You said this is normal “it will come and go.”
But when you were campaigning, you told the people these things would stop, and will not not continue.
You said, “yes, LEC is okay and sometimes goes off but will come on”
Yes, roads in the southeast has improved under JNB
But is that the best you can offer as a senator of the most populated county in Liberia?
We removed Weah because of bad leadership.
Why are you comparing the UP government to Weah’s failures?
Is George Weah now your standard for “good governance”?
Before you open your mouth to tell us what has changed, show us your work:
What major bills have you sponsored for Montserrado?
What have you done for education?
What did you do for youth employment?
What reforms did you push that actually passed?
Show us. Don’t just talk for the UP because you want political security.
Instead, you are preparing to approve a national budget that gives each lawmaker $100,000 for “legislative engagement” while the people you claim to represent are suffering.
Senator, you were born in 1968/69.
You saw the Liberia that worked.
You enjoyed opportunities this young generation never had.
Today, Liberia is a young country, 60 to 65% of the population never saw the war.
They don’t know the Liberia you grew up in.
Instead of helping them rise, you are keeping them in poverty and telling them,
“This is the best Liberia has ever been.”
That is not leadership, that is manipulation.
Let’s talk about what really changed:
Yes, your salary has changed.
Your benefits has changed.
Your lifestyle has changed.
But for the ordinary Liberian?
Nothing has changed.
This is the problem with politicians like you:
You believe bad politics is better than honest leadership. You believe loyalty to party is more important than loyalty to the people.
You came to public life with almost nothing.
Today, you’re a millionaire. So, when you ask, “What has Cummings done? How many jobs has he created?” We ask you the same question:
How many jobs have YOU created?
What have YOU built? What opportunities have you given Montserrado?
Just be honest.
The good news for Liberia is this:
Your tricks will not stop us.
Your pretend politics will not confuse us.
Your selfish gains will not discourage us.
Some of us will never give up on Liberia.
We have seen the ugly outcomes of dishonest leaders, and we refuse to surrender this country to recycled politicians defending failure.
The fight for a better Liberia continues, with or without you.
THE GENERAL”
