Monrovia, Liberia — A purported testimony from a household cook in the home of Liberian economist Samuel Jackson has reportedly been leaked to Verity News as authorities continue investigating the death of his wife, Toni Jackson.
According to the alleged statement, the cook described events that occurred at the couple’s residence shortly before the incident that has drawn national attention.
“Sam Jackson got home and told me to get him a spoon. I brought the spoon for him,” the cook reportedly said in the testimony. The witness further claimed that moments later Jackson used a key to open a door in the house.
“After entering the room, he suddenly started yelling,” the cook’s statement continued, according to the leaked account.
The authenticity of the testimony has not yet been officially confirmed by authorities, and police have not publicly commented on the reported leak.
