Former Chairman of the CDC and Ambassador-Designate to Italy, George Solo, has died, family sources have confirmed.
In a brief statement to Verity News, a relative acknowledged his passing, though details surrounding his death were not immediately disclosed.
Reacting to the news, Benita Whitney Urey expressed deep sorrow, saying, “Chey my big brother. Rest in peace, Solo. I’m heartbroken by this news.”
Solo was widely recognized for his public service and leadership. Further information, including funeral arrangements, is expected to be announced by the family.
