Three Killed, 20 Injured in Highway Crash in Ghana

Three men have reportedly died and at least 20 others sustained injuries following a collision involving a Mitsubishi Outlander and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus along the Kumasi–Accra Highway in Ghana.

According to the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, the accident occurred early Monday, May 11, at Odumasi Ohene Nkwanta near the Rider Steel and Iron Company.

The broadcaster reported that the two vehicles collided along the busy highway, leaving several passengers injured. Victims were reportedly rushed to nearby medical facilities for treatment.

The deaths of the three victims were confirmed by the Ghana National Fire Service.

Authorities are yet to release the identities of the deceased as investigations into the cause of the crash continue.
