Nairobi, Kenya –: President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, held a tête-à-tête with His Excellency Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, on the margins of the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi, Kenya.
During the bilateral engagement, the two leaders discussed avenues for strengthening relations between Liberia and France, with emphasis on expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest and advancing shared development priorities.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for both Presidents to exchange views on regional and international issues affecting Africa and the global community.
Liberia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Madam Sara Beysolow Nyanti, and Liberia’s Ambassador to France joined President Boakai during the discussions.
