Wolokolie, popularly known as “Dusty,” reportedly died on Saturday morning, though the cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
According to family members, his remains have been deposited at the Samuel Stryker Funeral Home in Sinkor pending funeral arrangements.
Dusty served as Representative of Montserrado County Electoral District #4, now District #10, from 2006 to 2012. During his time in the Legislature, he was known for his active involvement in national and community affairs.
Before entering politics, Wolokolie was widely recognized as a student leader at the University of Liberia, where he played a prominent role in student activism and leadership activities.
News of his passing has sparked reactions from former colleagues, friends, and supporters, many of whom have described him as a committed public servant and outspoken advocate for the people he represented.
Family members have not yet announced details regarding funeral and burial arrangements.
Dusty’s death marks the end of a chapter for many who knew him through student leadership, politics, and public service.
