MONROVIA – Montserrado County District #8 Representative Prince A. Toles has sparked public speculation after suggesting that more details could emerge regarding the recent multi-million-dollar drug seizure in Liberia.
In a brief statement, the lawmaker declared: “They will be shocked when the real story behind the drugs comes out.”
Representative Toles did not elaborate on who he was referring to or provide further details about the information he alluded to. His remarks, however, come amid growing public interest and calls for transparency surrounding the seizure of cocaine reportedly valued at more than US$19 million.
The comment has fueled speculation on social media, with many Liberians questioning whether additional individuals or networks could be linked to the case.
Authorities have yet to respond to the lawmaker’s statement, while investigations into the drug seizure remain ongoing.
