A 53-year-old man, identified as George B. Glassco, has tragically died following a road accident involving a Kia motor (truck) in Cestos City, Rivercess County.
According to eyewitnesses, the fatal incident occurred between 8:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on Sunday evening.
Reports indicate that Glassco was traveling from Upper Cestos as a passenger on a motorcycle when the motorcycle allegedly veered into a roadside drainage. The impact reportedly threw him onto the roadway.
Eyewitnesses further stated that a Kia Motor traveling in the same direction allegedly struck Glassco after he fell onto the road, causing severe head injuries that resulted in his death.
The identities of both the motorcycle rider and the driver of the Kia Motor have not yet been disclosed.
Authorities are expected to launch an investigation to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the accident and determine its cause.
