Ganta, Nimba County — A woman has reportedly died after being electrocuted by a fallen power line belonging to Jungle Energy Power (JEP) along the LPMC Bypass Road in Ganta City, Nimba County.
According to reports from the area, the victim had gone to harvest cassava leaves for sale from her garden when she allegedly came into contact with the fallen high-voltage cable, which was reportedly still carrying electricity. She died instantly at the scene.
The tragic incident has sparked fear and concern among residents, with many rushing to the scene after learning of the accident.
