“We Want Boakai! We Want Boakai!” — those were some of the chants from excited Grand Kru citizens as the long-awaited earth-moving equipment promised to the county makes its way toward Barclayville.
The arrival has sparked excitement among citizens, many of whom see the equipment as a significant step toward addressing the county’s long-standing road and infrastructure challenges.
A total of 15 pieces of equipment were promised for Grand Kru, though reports indicate that two are expected to be transported back, leaving the remaining equipment to proceed into the county.
As citizens await the convoy’s arrival in Barclayville, expectations remain high for the equipment to be put to work across the county.
