Patrick Wallace, Youth League Chair of the CDC Maryland County Chapter, has resigned from his position and announced his complete departure from the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC).
In a resignation letter dated September 17, 2026, Wallace described the decision as personal and the result of careful reflection.
On August 5, 2026, it can be recalled that another senior executive of the CDC Maryland chapter, former County Superintendent George A. Prowd, also resigned from the CDC.
Two senior executives from Maryland County have resigned now in less than two months.
