Airport Authority Official Reportedly Linked to Ongoing Drug Investigation

MONROVIA – Information emerging from multiple sources and shared with Verity News suggests that Egon Kuiah, Deputy Managing Director for Operations at the Liberia Airport Authority, has reportedly been picked up by the Liberia National Police (LNP) in connection with the ongoing alleged over US$300 million drug case.

According to the reports, which Verity News has not independently verified, Kuiah is alleged to own a fishing boat that was used to transport the suspected narcotics from offshore to the mainland.

As of publication, the Liberia National Police has not issued an official statement confirming the reported detention or the allegations.
