MARGIBI COUNTY, LIBERIA — Community Action for Reintegration and Employment Inc. (CARE for Liberia) has extended its free medical outreach to Margibi County following advocacy by senatorial aspirant Vandalark Patrick, who recommended the county for the organization’s humanitarian services.
CARE for Liberia CEO Konrad Barjuah praised Patrick for drawing the organization’s attention to the healthcare needs of Margibi residents, describing him as a committed advocate for his people.
Speaking during the free medical outreach on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at 26th Gate Community, Barjuah disclosed that their longstanding friendship dates back to their time in the United States.
“Margibi is blessed to have a son who is always putting the interests of his people above everything,” Barjuah emphasized.
The initiative provides free medical services, including eye care, dental treatment, and diagnosis and treatment of illnesses such as malaria, typhoid, diabetes, and hypertension. More than 4,000 prescription glasses were reportedly brought from the United States to support vision care.
The organization has operated mobile clinics for several years, initially focusing on marginalized populations, and is expanding its services beyond Montserrado County.
Patrick’s recommendation highlights efforts to connect Margibi residents with accessible healthcare services.
CARE for Liberia’s outreach underscores the importance of community advocacy and partnerships in addressing healthcare challenges, with all services provided free of charge.
Vandalark Patricks thanked CARE for Liberia for extending its free medical outreach to Margibi County, emphasizing that access to quality healthcare is essential to improving the welfare of residents and urging continued humanitarian support for underserved communities.
