Monrovia — The Presiding Bishop of Christian Fellowship Ministries International, Bishop Dr. Pah K. Suku, Sr., has called on former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf to refrain from what he described as actions that undermine President Joseph Boakai and his administration.
In a brief but pointed statement, Bishop Suku urged the former leader to support the current government rather than engage in conduct he believes could weaken it. “Stop undermining President Boakai and his government,” he said.
The bishop’s remarks come amid ongoing political discourse in the country, with tensions occasionally surfacing between current officials, former leaders, and their respective supporters.
There has been no immediate response from former President Sirleaf.
Political analysts note that statements from religious leaders often carry significant influence in Liberia’s public space, particularly during periods of heightened political debate.
