Deputy Information Minister for Press and Public Affairs Daniel Sando has responded to Ruling Unity Party National Chairman Luther Tarpeh’s call for an immediate Cabinet Reshuffle, stating that the current Cabinet is the most efficient since the tenure of Former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
Sando’s reaction comes amid intensified calls by Unity Party Chairman Luther Tarpeh, urging President Joseph Boakai to replace underperforming officials.
Speaking on the Prime FM Monday, Deputy Minister Sando said, despite he recognizes Luther Tarpeh as Chairman of the Unity Party, but he believes the Current Cabinet is proceeding effectively evident by the performance of members during the Presidential awards for Ministries and agencies.
According to Sando, the current Cabinet under President Boakai is more efficient and proactive, as all officials are being mandated to give a period report on their workings so as to give room for necessary suggestions where improvement needs to be focused.
