Margibi County District 5 Representative aspirant and businessman Emmanuel Folley has intensified his community outreach with a series of donations and engagements aimed at improving living conditions across the district.
In Sangai Town, Folley presented a ferry valued at over L$108,000 to ease movement across the Borlor River, where residents have long faced dangerous crossings, particularly during the rainy season. The ferry is expected to benefit more than fifteen surrounding communities.
Speaking at the presentation, Folley said the intervention reflects his commitment to practical solutions that improve access to farms, schools, and markets. Residents and local leaders, including Town Chief Sangay Flomo, welcomed the initiative, describing it as life-saving.
Folley also visited Gbays Town, where he donated L$30,000 to the Slocum Medical Clinic to support healthcare services. Clinic officials described the contribution as timely amid shortages of essential supplies. He further pledged to construct a modern clinic next year.
In Weala, Folley donated 12 bags of cement to the Woody Foundation School for the construction of a Peace Hall.
The outreach underscores Folley’s focus on addressing key challenges in transportation, healthcare, and education across the district.
