The Executive Branch of Liberia has submitted a draft 2027 National Budget amounting to US$1.54 billion to the Legislature for consideration.
The draft budget was formally presented to House Speaker Richard Koon by Finance Minister Augustine K. Ngafuan, marking the beginning of the legislative review process.
The proposed national budget is expected to outline the government’s spending priorities, revenue projections, and development plans for the 2027 fiscal year.
The Legislature is expected to review and act on the proposal in keeping with its constitutional responsibility.
