River Gee County | Sept. 14, 2026 | A 36-year-old resident of Jimmiville in Fish-Town, River Gee County, has successfully given birth to triplets at the J. J. Dossen Memorial Hospital in Harper, Maryland County; a delivery that has attracted attention across the county.
Anita Weah safely delivered the three babies, a boy and two girls. According to Article 4 Section 3 of the 2011 Children’s Law of Liberia, the Ministry of Health is under obligation to prioritize and provide needed support and assistance to a parent who has triplets or more babies.
Speaking to Verity News reporter following her safe delivery, Anita said she experienced considerable surprise and anxiety throughout her pregnancy, particularly because she had never previously given birth to twins or triplets.
According to her, as the pregnancy progressed, she became increasingly concerned because she was uncertain about what was happening in her womb. However, those fears were replaced by happiness and gratitude after she successfully delivered all three babies.
Anita Weah disclosed that the delivery was completed without a Cesarean section C-section and that she did not experience any major complications during childbirth.
She attributed the safe delivery to the grace and protection of Almighty God, expressing gratitude for preserving her life and the lives of her three newborns throughout the pregnancy and delivery.
The mother further reported that all three babies are currently in good health, with no complications reported since their birth.
With the arrival of three newborns at once, Weah is now appealing to humanitarian organizations, philanthropists, community members, charitable groups, and well-wishers for assistance.
She explained that caring for three babies simultaneously comes with significant financial and material responsibilities.
The family is particularly in need of baby clothing, diapers, feeding supplies, and other essential items to help provide proper care for the newborns.
