Henry Costa Changes Political Gear

Monrovia, Liberia – Henry Costa, a staunch supporter of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) in the 2023 Runoff Elections has appreciated the government of President Joseph Boakai for what he termed as massive Improvements at some ministries and agencies of the government.

According to Costa, the government of President Boakai has created an enabling environment for every Liberian to thrive regardless of political affiliation.

Costa who has been a vocal critic of President Boakai and his Unity Party during the 2023 November Runoff Elections is quoted as expressing optimism that the government of working holistically for all Liberians.

During the heat of the past elections, Costa was heard on many occasions exposing confidential discussions between him and Mr. Boakai, calling on Liberians not to elect Mr. Boakai to lead Liberia.
But in a surprising turn of events, Costa has expressed excitement in the performance of some ministries and agencies of the very government he once criticized.

He added that for the level of professionalism and effectiveness in service delivery to everyone regardless of political connections.
He made a specific reference to a recent experience he had at the Ministry of Minds and Energy, where he had gone to process some documents to operate a business in that sector.

According to Costa, during that process, he did not experience any form of hindrance or bribery, but rather professionalism and effectiveness in service delivery, something he said must be emulated at all ministries and agencies of government.

Additionally, Costa noted that though he did not support the Unity Party in the past elections, he must appreciate the government for the high level of professionalism and reform taking place at the Ministry of Mines and Energy and the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation under the leadership of Minister Wilmont Paye and Mohammed Ali.

Meanwhile, the firing political commentator has vowed to be more fair and objective in his political commentaries starting this 2025 going forward.
