An hour ago, Verity News LIVE-screamed the historic inauguration of the new democratically-elected president of Ghana. Three things happened that have to be known about today’s inauguration:
1) The 11th President of Ghana (July 24, 2012 – January 7, 2017), H. E. John Dramani Mahama, made a historic comeback as Head of State of the Ghanaian Republic on January 7, 2025.
2) An esteemed Ghanaian Professor, Madam Jane Naana Opkom-Agyemang, was sworn into office as the first female Vice President of the fourth Republic of Ghana.
3) The 9th Parliament of the fourth Republic of Ghana was officially inaugurated and installed.
