According to family and security sources, the Human Resource Manager of the Private Bar Nightclub whose CEO George Leroy Harris is directly connected to the US$317 million cocaine bust has reportedly died.
Private Bar Nightclub HR Manager, Emmanuel Gilman, died on Monday night, September 14, 2026, at a local clinic around the SD Cooper Road in Paynesville, Montserrado County. ‘
According to reports, Gilman allegedly sustained injuries after falling. It’s not yet clear what led to the fall as circumstances surrounding his death remain unverified. The Liberia National Police (LNP) has already been informed about Gilman’s passing.
The Government of Liberia through the Joint Security has since shut down the Private Bar Nightclub on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
