Police Inspector General Gregory O.W Coleman extended a warm welcome and a reassurance of protection to Nigerians residing in Liberia.
This is in furtherance facilitating solidarity and commitment to fostering a harmonious relationship between the Nigerian community and law enforcement, IG Gregory Coleman pledge came during a significant gathering at the Liberia National Police Headquarters on Monday, May 13, 2024, where members of the Nigerian Community and Descendant Union convened for a courtesy visit.
Inspector General Coleman emphasized that while providing a safe environment for all residents, regardless of nationality, the adherence to Liberian laws remains imperative.
“The protection of the rights of all those residing in Liberia is paramount to our administration,” he affirmed, underlining the foundational principles of justice and inclusivity.
President Deacon Harrison Eva Anikwu, representing the Nigerian Community and Descendant Union, reciprocated this commitment by affirming the group’s dedication to collaborating with law enforcement in combating crime.
