LFA makes disclosure of delegation to England after mounting criticisms

The Liberia Football Association (LFA), for the first time in at least three years, made a full disclosure of a traveling delegation following mounting criticisms about its secrecy.

It unveiled the delegation to England for an international developmental tour on April 15.

They safely arrived on 16 April with a mixture of youth players and are lodging at Grand Plaza Hotel in Central London.

The delegation is headed by Diamond Diggs-Bayoh (Mrs.) with Rashidi K. Williams representing the government (Ministry of Youth & Sports or MYS).

While in England, the squad will compete in several matches against various youth teams and academies designed to provide exposure and technical growth for Liberian talents.

They lost 9-0 to Chelsea under-21 at Cobham training ground on 17 April and will play Aldershot on 20 April.

The squad:

Dabeh (TDS Academy); Oneal Taylor and Prince Forfor (Columbus Crew, USA); Frank Pah (Ceda Stars Bergen, USA) and James Lackey (Melbourne, Australia)
