The Liberia National Police (LNP) regrets to announce that Officer Alvin Karnuah, assigned to the Mount Barclay Police Station, died following a tragic motor vehicle collision.
The incident occurred on Friday, May 8, 2026, when Officer Karnuah, while riding his private motorcycle en route to duty, was involved in a fatal collision with a moving truck.
He sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival at the John F. Kennedy Medical Center.
His remains have been deposited at the JFK morgue, pending a post-mortem examination and further investigation.
The Liberia National Police extends its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the late Officer Karnuah during this difficult time.
