Margibi Youths Hail Superintendent’s Commitment to Vocational Education

Margibi County — More than 200 members of the LIB Sisters Youth Group on Friday paid a courtesy visit to Margibi County Superintendent O. Jay Godfavor Morris Jr. to express appreciation for his support in expanding access to vocational and trade education opportunities.

The youths, many of whom are currently enrolled in various vocational and trade institutions through the Superintendent’s sponsorship, said his intervention has provided them with practical skills and renewed hope for a better future.

Speaking on behalf of the group, youth representative commended Superintendent Morris for prioritizing youth empowerment and helping young people acquire skills for self-reliance and employment.

Responding, Superintendent Morris thanked the youths for the gesture and urged them to remain committed to their education and training. He described vocational education as a key tool for equipping young people with skills needed to contribute meaningfully to society.

“We must impact our people and build a strong relationship between the government and citizens,” Morris said, noting that leaders have a responsibility to improve the lives of those they serve.

He reaffirmed his commitment to youth development and pledged to extend similar opportunities to more young people across Margibi County.

The visit concluded with messages of encouragement and a renewed commitment to education and skills training.
