Following an official investigation into the alleged assault involving Miss Kindness Wilson, the Miss Liberia Organization has determined that she violated Section 5G of the contract she signed when joining the pageant. Wilson fully participated in the investigative hearing, offering her account of the incident, which led to the decision to suspend her from her role as First Runner-Up for a period of 90 days.
In consultation with the Ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism (MICAT), the official host and franchise holder of the pageant, XL-Entertainment has decided to implement corrective actions. These include community service, serving as the spokesperson for an anti-bullying campaign, and participating in anger management counseling.
Wilson has taken responsibility for her actions, acknowledged her breach of contract, and committed to working cooperatively with the Miss Liberia Organization, the Pageantry Union of Liberia, and MICAT in the future.
The Miss Liberia Organization has reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the values and integrity of the pageant and maintaining the standards that reflect the nation’s heritage. The organization, alongside MICAT, will continue to take necessary steps to ensure these principles are upheld. Further updates will be provided as the process unfolds.
