MoE Launches Campaign to Transform Early Childhood Education

The Ministry of Education (MOE), through its Bureau of Early Childhood Education, has launched a nationwide advocacy campaign to reform and strengthen Early Childhood Education (ECE) in Liberia. This effort is a cornerstone of the broader Diaspora Librarian 2024 platform, aimed at improving Liberia’s educational system with a focus on early learning.

The initiative, led by Honorable Fasam Howard Nyensuah, Minister of Early Childhood Education, seeks to enhance the quality of education for young learners across Liberia. It underscores ECE’s critical role in fostering children’s intellectual, emotional, and social development.

A key goal of the campaign is to ensure equitable access to quality ECE services nationwide. The Ministry aims to build a stronger foundation for Liberia’s education system by addressing disparities and investing in early education.

“The Ministry of Education is committed to improving the lives of young Liberians by providing them with quality early education that will shape their futures,” said Minister Nyensuah.

To mark the campaign’s launch, the MOE hosted a special event that brought together ECE students, educators, and key stakeholders. The event also celebrated the commencement of the Diaspora Librarian 2024 platform, emphasizing collaboration’s importance in advancing early education in Liberia.
