Monrovia, Liberia – Ex-President George Weah’s former Chief of Protocol, Finda Nora Bundoo, has broken her silence, claiming that some of her own associates wanted her jailed and prevented from burying her late father, but says God intervened and frustrated their plans.
Speaking during tributes at her father’s funeral, Bundoo emotionally reflected on what she described as one of the darkest moments of her life, expressing gratitude to those who stood by her despite the challenges.
She singled out Deputy Speaker Thomas Fallah for his unwavering support, saying he publicly identified with her when others turned their backs.
”When things were not okay, Thomas Fallah stood by me. He said, ‘She is my own.’ I have come to say thank you,” Bundoo stated.
Bundoo also thanked President Joseph Nyuma Boakai and the Government of Liberia for allowing her to give her father a dignified burial.
In an emotional revelation, she alleged that some of her own people wanted her incarcerated.
”Some of my own people wanted me to be in jail, but God refused their plan. They never wanted me to bury my father. They said I must be at South Beach,” she declared.
She further acknowledged former Foreign Affairs Minister Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Senator Nathaniel McGill, and several others for supporting her during what she described as a heartbreaking period.
Concluding her remarks, Bundoo said the experience had fundamentally changed her outlook on life.
”I have learned my lesson. I don’t owe anybody anything,” she said.
