GBARNGA, Bong County — Two people, including a child, are reportedly dead following a serious road accident at the New Gbarnga Iron Gate Checkpoint in Bong County.
According to initial reports, a pickup truck bearing license plate A616321 crashed into a parked truck, resulting in the deaths of two occupants of the pickup.
The pickup is reportedly owned by the Cavalla Rubber Corporation (CRC) in Maryland County and bears the company identification number CRC/MVEH 136.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear, as authorities have yet to release a detailed account of what led to the collision.
Police authorities are investigating the incident and are expected to release their findings in the coming days.
