MONROVIA – Inspector General of Police Gregory Coleman says investigators have identified senior government officials allegedly linked to drug trafficking activities in Liberia.
Speaking on the ongoing investigation, Coleman stated, “We have identified key players. This thing was definitely, definitely sanctioned by very senior level of this government.
The Police Chief did not disclose the identities of the officials or specify the agencies involved. His remarks have heightened public interest and calls for transparency as authorities continue their investigation into the alleged narcotics network.
The Liberia National Police has yet to announce any arrests or formally charge the alleged senior officials, while many await further details on the findings of the investigation.
