Representative Moima Briggs-Mensah of Bong County District #6 has described the Citizens Movement for Change (CMC) as “Criminals Managing Criminals” amid growing tension with fellow lawmaker Representative Musa Bility.
Rep. Briggs-Mensah made the remark during the ongoing exchanges between the two lawmakers at the House of Representatives in Monrovia.
“CMC is Criminals Managing Criminals,” the Bong County lawmaker declared, despite the party’s official name being Citizens Movement for Change.
The verbal clash between the lawmakers has reportedly intensified in recent days, drawing attention from fellow legislators and political observers.
Representative Musa Bility is the political leader of the CMC, a party that has been vocal on national governance and accountability issues.
