Rep. Musa Bility Urges Supporters to Pursue Presidency, Says Leadership Should Be Open to All

MONROVIA – Citizens Movement for Change (CMC) Political Leader and Nimba County Representative Musa Hassan Bility has called on Liberians to believe they are capable of leading the country, arguing that the presidency should not be viewed as reserved for any particular group or political pathway.

Speaking to supporters, Bility reflected on the outcomes of the 2017 and 2023 presidential elections, noting that Liberians had supported former President George Weah and later President Joseph Nyuma Boakai.

Bility argued that becoming President of Liberia should not depend solely on first serving as Vice President.

Encouraging supporters to be politically active, Bility said Liberians should stand up for their political aspirations rather than wait for opportunities to be handed to them.

His remarks come amid growing political discussions and early positioning by political figures ahead of the 2029 presidential election.
