President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has appointed Mr. Mohammed L. Sow as the Acting Deputy Managing Director for Technical Services at the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC), effective immediately. This appointment is based on Mr. Sow’s extensive qualifications and experience within the energy sector. The position is pending confirmation by the Liberian Senate upon its return.
In his announcement, President Boakai expressed full confidence in Mr. Sow’s abilities, stating that he will work alongside the acting management team to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. The President highlighted that Mr. Sow’s leadership will play a critical role in advancing the government’s efforts to improve electricity supply and infrastructure development throughout Liberia.
