The U.S. State Department has unveiled a redesigned American passport featuring an image of President Donald Trump, marking the upcoming 250th anniversary of the nation’s founding.
In a brief announcement, the White House described the document as a “limited edition” release tied to the America 250 celebrations. “Patriot passport unlocked. Limited edition. Stamped for America 250,” the statement read.
Officials said the updated design is intended to commemorate the historic milestone and highlight themes of national pride. It remains unclear how widely the new passports will be issued or whether they will replace the current standard design.
Additional details about eligibility, rollout dates, and production numbers have not yet been released.
