Yarpah Town, Nyorwein District, Rivercess County – The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) has announced plans to set up a vocational training center in Yarpah Town, Rivercess County, to provide young people with hands-on skills for jobs and entrepreneurship.
The disclosure was made on Monday by Mr. Mark Korpu, Communication and Visibility Expert at UNIDO-Liberia, during a one-day stakeholders’ engagement on the EU-supported Youth Rising Program.
According to Mr. Korpu, the center will offer training in multiple disciplines designed to prepare young people for Liberia’s job market while also encouraging self-employment through entrepreneurship.
