Liberian activist and philanthropist Martin K. N. Kollie has boosted Montserrado County’s preparation for the upcoming National County Sports Meet with a donation of premium sports equipment to the football and kickball teams.
Through the Martin K. N. Kollie Foundation (MKNK-F), the activist presented a consignment of brand-new training and match-ready materials aimed at strengthening the county’s competitive edge in Liberia’s most celebrated sporting tournament.
The donation includes two sets of branded jerseys, ten high-quality footballs, twenty-four football cones, and another twenty-four training discs equipment the teams say will enhance both performance and preparation.
Coach Famatta Dean, along with Technical Team Head Alieu Bah, received the items on behalf of the teams. Kollie praised their ongoing efforts in shaping a strong and disciplined squad ahead of the competition.
He lauded the coaching staff and players for their commitment and encouraged citizens of Montserrado County to rally behind their teams as the tournament approaches.
