Margibi County — The Mctiama Firm Foundation Academy on Friday, May 1, 2026, hosted its second induction ceremony for Miss and Mr. Mctiama for the 2025/2026 academic year, bringing together parents, students, administrators, and community stakeholders in Jungle Farm Community along the RIA Highway.

Delivering the keynote address, Liberian journalist Emmanuel M. Kangar Jr. challenged newly inducted student leaders to embrace the theme, “Lead with sincerity and love,” as a guiding principle in their roles.

Kangar emphasized the importance of integrity, compassion, and independent thinking, urging the students to see leadership as a responsibility to serve others. He encouraged them to cultivate values that will positively shape their future and contribute to national development.

Addressing parents, Kangar called for greater investment in children’s education, describing young people as “leaders for the next generation.” He also highlighted the institution’s commitment to instilling moral values and discipline beyond the classroom.

In a strong message to school authorities, Kangar encouraged administrators to invite professionals and independent thinkers to engage students during school programs, rather than relying heavily on political figures. He warned that exposing students to corrupt influences could undermine their development, while interactions with principled individuals could inspire positive growth.

“I’ve always said, if the opportunity to speak to the kids is given to independent minds, the kids’ future will be shaped positively,” he noted.

Kangar also expressed appreciation to the institution for the opportunity to interact with what he described as “bright minds of young leaders.”

The ceremony, held on the school campus marked another milestone for the Mctiama Firm Foundation Academy, a primary institution established on December 5, 2022, in Jungle Farm Community, Lower Margibi County.
