This paper released a report about four hours ago, which revealed that an Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) personnel was arrested with drugs in Bong County.
Further investigation done by Verity News has finally identified the soldier in question as Sergeant Peter T. Coleman. The arrested AFL personnel goes by the name Peter Sergio Tycrane Coleman on Facebook.
Sergeant Coleman once served in Mali as a foreign peace keeper under the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA). He returned from the UN Mission to Liberia in 2023.
The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) and the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) have yet to release any official statement on the latest development involving Sergeant Coleman.
