Deputy Information Minister Sando Criticizes Cummings’ Political Consistency

MONROVIA, Liberia — Deputy Information Minister Daniel Sando has criticized opposition leader Alexander Cummings, describing him as “inconsistent and indecisive” over his political positions and leadership ambitions.

Sando argued that Cummings’ criticism of political leaders while in opposition conflicts with his subsequent willingness to align with some of the same individuals.

“If the people you criticized while in opposition yesterday were given a red card, and you said they had failed the country, the Liberian people joined you and voted them out,” Sando said.

He maintained that national leadership requires consistency and preparedness, adding that there was “no room for indecisive people” in the presidency.

Sando also praised President Joseph Boakai’s leadership, asserting that the administration was moving the country forward.

Cummings’ response to Sando’s remarks was not included in the information provided.
