A thorough investigation by Verity News has uncovered firsthand evidence of how two separate consignments of cocaine, totaling 333 kilograms with a street value of between US$26 million and US$50 million, successfully entered the premises of the Roberts International Airport, passed through X-ray screening and security checks, later stored in the airport warehouse, and then boarded the aircraft.
The investigation has also identified various actors allegedly linked to the both cargo transactions, including the vehicle that transported and delivered the two consignments of cocaine. The first consignment of cocaine, which was processed and cleared for storage and subsequent airlifting on May 22, 2026, arrived at exactly 15:30 on the premises of the Roberts Air Cargo Center, which is operated and supervised by GLS Mengies, a cargo and handling services company.
The May 22, 2026 consignment contained four boxes of cocaine weighing 100 kilograms. The yellow-covering, unsealed boxes were transported in a yellow taxicab and delivered by Mr. Emmanuel Zeon who is a staff of Express Handling Services (EHS) Africa Logistics. EHS Africa Logistics is located at Wrotto Town, Airfield, Sinkor, Monrovia.
According to evidence in our possession, the 4-box drug delivery was received by three (3) cargo handling staff of GLS Mengie at right the entrance of the RIA export center and/or screening section in the compound of the Roberts Air Cargo facility, an airport compound adjacent the new terminal, opposite the Chinese fence, on the side towards Charlesville.
The car that delivered the first consignment of four boxes of cocaine exited the premises of the Airport at exactly 15:49 on Friday, May 22, 2026. According to evidence in our possession, the X-ray screening and security checks of the May 22 consignment was directly done by Mr. Oscar John Brown who is a Security Supervisor at the Roberts International Airport.
Further evidence shows that when the consignment of cocaine arrived, Brown quickly rushed to intercept it and he appeared to have allegedly passed direct orders to other airport staff or alleged accomplices in that environment. According to verifiable evidence in our possession, Nathan Watson was the assigned security officer in charge of the X-ray screening machine and the entire security check at that moment. The evidence reveals that Brown hurriedly took full charge of the entire system and placed Watson on the side as seen in a long stretch of pictorial and videographic evidence that our investigation obtained.
As the boxes of cocaine rolled through for X-ray screening and security checks, the screen of the computer continually turned dark/black, which suggested that nothing could be identified. However, Brown is clearly seen ignoring that red flag, while he allowed the boxes to pass untouched. According to standard airport procedures and internal security protocols at the RIA, whenever the imagery of any cargo turns dark or black on the computer during the screening process and security check, the security officer in charge should immediately carry out physical screening and comprehensive security checks in the presence of the LDEA, the LRA Customs agents, the Police, and the Liberia Medicines & Health Products Regulatory Authority (LMHPRA). But further evidence shows that Oscar Brown ignored all of the red flags, standard operating procedures, and security protocols.
Brown was again seen suspiciously escorting the boxes as far as the aircraft for boarding while at the same time taking photos to make sure that he has a proof of allegedly executing his mission. Verity News investigation has enough reasons to believe, based on evidence in our possession, that the transportation, delivery, recipient, clarence, and transshipment of the both consignments were facilitated by a coordinated and well-organized network of insiders and outsiders. The first consignment of 100kg of cocaine finally departed the Roberts International Airport on May 22, 2026 at 21:06 according to evidence in our possession. The consignment transited at Brussels, Belgium, on May 23, 2026 at 21:15, and successfully arrived at its final destination at London Heathrow Airport on May 23, 2026 at 22:25. The street value of the 100kg of cocaine is over US$8 million.
Summary (Air Waybill and Status History of the 100kg of cocaine):
1) First Flight (Brussels Airlines SN241):
Departure (Monrovia, RIA): May 22, 2026 at 21:06
Arrival (Transit: Brussels, Belgium): May 23, 2026 at 05:33
2) Second Flight (Brussel Airlines SN2103):
Departure from Brussels: May 23, 2026 at 21:15
Arrival at London Heathrow Airport: May 23, 2026 at 22:25
According to the evidence in our possession, the second consignment of 233kg of cocaine arrived in the same yellow taxicab on June 5, 2026 at around 16:10. The same Emmanuel Zeon of EHS Africa Logistics delivered the consignment to staff of the cargo and handling company, GLS Mengies. Further evidence reveals that there were multiple of strange and suspicious movements of different people during the two separate cargo delivery, processing, clearances, and onboarding.
Again, the evidence shows that airport security and cargo agency staff appeared allegedly compromised and complicit in the alleged transnational crime (drug trafficking). The evidence shows that the officer in charge who should have X-rayed the “233kg of cargo” was overtaken by the Deputy Director for Airport Security Mohammed Duwah even though that was never Duwah’s assigned area at that moment. Duwah is seen conducting the X-ray screening according to the evidence in our possession while Ms. Gbapayehea sat beside him.
The security screening form later carried the name Ms. Ruth K. Gbapayehea (Employee ID 04-908-75) on June 5, 2026 at 4:30pm even though Duwah did the screening. The form claimed that Ms. Gbapayehea conducted both X-ray (XRY technology) screening and Visual Check (VCK) screening but still could not discover they were drugs. Ms. Gbapayehea again claimed “SPX” which means that the drugs/“cargoes” were “Secured for Passenger Aircraft” even though multiple dark/black images appeared on the computer like in the case of Oscar Brown. All the signals were allegedly ignored by Duwah when he screened as our evidence reveals. The consignment of 233kg of cocaine was originally scheduled to depart on June 12, 2026 at 21:10 but was confiscated on June 9, 2026.
Summary (Air Waybill and Status History of the 233kg of cocaine):
1) First Flight (Brussels Airlines SN241):
Departure (Monrovia, RIA): June 12, 2026 at 21:10
Arrival (Transit: Brussels, Belgium): June 13, 2026 at 05:50
2) Second Flight (Brussel Airlines SN2103):
Departure from Brussels: June 13, 2026 at 21:20
Arrival at London Heathrow Airport: June 13, 2026 at 22:35
Evidence in our possession shows that five (5) days after the storage and four (4) days after multiple security and custom screenings, the 233kg drugs were finally discovered and intercepted on June 9, 2026 at 2:13 while final clearances for boarding via an SN Brussels were taking place.
In part two, Verity News will reveal the names of other actors allegedly linked to the 333kg cocaine bust at the Robert International Airport.
To be continued.
