The generator, which serves as the sole source of electricity for classrooms, laboratories, and administrative offices, unexpectedly failed late a day ago. Since then, students and staff have faced severe disruptions and essential services halted.
“We are in desperate need of support,” said the university’s administration. “Without power, our academic mission is at risk. We appeal to the government, NGOs, and the community to help us restore electricity as soon as possible.”
With no immediate backup available, the university’s future academic schedule and campus safety are uncertain. Efforts are underway to secure emergency funds and a replacement generator to restore normalcy.
Students and faculty alike are anxiously awaiting a swift resolution to this crisis that threatens the heart of Grand Bassa’s education system.
